Our Mission

Our mission is to proclaim the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ to the spiritually hungry and to the hurting in the world (Luke 4:18-19).

Statement of faith

The Bible is our all-sufficient rule of faith and practice. This statement of fundamental beliefs is intended simply to set forth those biblical doctrines that are the basis of faith and fellowship among believers in Christ Mission Churches.

1. We conceive the Bible to be in actuality the very word of God.
2. The One True God has revealed Himself as eternally self-existent; “I AM” the Creator of Heaven and earth the Redeemer of mankind
3. The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. The scriptures declare: His virgin birth (Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:31, 35); His sinless life (Hebrews 7:26; 1 Peter 2:22); His miracles (Acts 2:22; 10:38); His substitutionary work on the cross (1 Cor.15:3, 4); His bodily resurrection from the dead (Matthew 28:6; Luke 24:39; 1 Cor.15:4); His exaltation to the right hand of God (Acts 1:9,11; 2:33; Phil.2:9-11; Hebrews 1:3); His personal return in power and glory (Matthew 24:27-30)
4. The Holy Spirit is God being the third person in the Godhead; Himself equal in power, glory, eternity, knowledge, wisdom, substance with the Father and with the Son.
5. Angels are spiritual created beings which are classified in two categories: angels of God and fallen angels. Satan is the chief angel of the fallen angels, and their final destiny is eternal judgment (Matthew 25:41; Revelation 20: 10-15).
6. Man was created good and upright; however, man by voluntary transgression, fell and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God.
7. Man’s hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God; Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ. By the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost, being justified by grace through faith, a man becomes an heir of God according to the hope of eternal life.; The inward evidence of salvation is the direct witness of the Spirit (Rom.8:16). The outward evidence to all men is a life of righteousness and true holiness (Eph.4:24; Tt.2:12); The experience of salvation is realized and affected by confessing Jesus as Lord. This confession is a continuing outward and vocal profession involving fellowship and communication with other believers having the same confession; In view of the biblical teaching that the security of the believer depends on a living relationship with Christ (John 15:6); in of the view of the Bible’s call to a life of holiness (1 Peter 1:16; Hebrews 12:14); in view of the clear teaching that a man may have his part taken out of the Book of Life (Rev.22:19) and in view of the fact that one who believes for a while can fall away (Luke 8:13); Christ Mission Churchesbelieve that the security of a believer is conditional in response to live a life of holiness as is fit for the child of God (Ephesians 5:5-20).
8. Church ordinances: The ordinance of Baptism by Immersion is commended by the scriptures. All who repent and believe in Christ as Savior and Lord are to be baptized. Thus, they declare to the world that they have died with Christ and that they also have been raised with Him to walk in newness on life Matthew 4:28, 19; Mark 16:16; Acts 10:47).
9. All believers are entitled to, and should ardently expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the baptism in the Holy Ghost and fire according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ.
10. The Baptism of the believers in the Holy Ghost is witnessed by the initial physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives them utterance (Acts 2:4); the speaking of tongues (1 Cor.12:4-10, 28), but different in purpose and use.
11. The Church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit with Divine appointments for the fulfillment of her great commission. All believers who are indeed baptized by the Spirit into the body of Christ are an integral part of the general Assembly and church of First-born, which are written in Heaven (Eph.1:22, 23; 2:22; Hebrews 12:23; 1 Cor.12:13).
12. Sanctification is an act of separating from that which is evil, and of the dedication unto God (Rom.12:1; 1 Thess.5:23; Hebrews 13:12). The scriptures teach a life of “Holiness without which no man shall see the Lord” (Hebrews 12:14). By power of the Holy Ghost we are able to obey the command; “Be ye Holy, for I am Holy” (1 Peter 1:15, 16). Sanctification is realized in the believer by recognizing this identification with Christ in His death and resurrection, and by faith reckoning daily upon the fact of that union, and by offering every faculty continually to the dominion of the Holy Spirit (Rom.6:1-11, 13; 8:1, 2, 12; Gal.2:20; Phil.2:12, 13; 1 Peter 1:5).
13. A divinely called and scripturally ordained ministry has been provided by our Lord for; The evangelization of the world; The edifying of the Body of Christ (Mark 16:15-20; Eph.4:11-13); The oversight and ruler-ship of the Church, in accordance with scriptural church government (1 Cor.12:28; Hebrews 13:7, 17).
14. The divine healing is an integral part of the gospel. Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement, and is the privilege of all believers (Isaiah 53:4, 5; Matthew 8:16, 17; Jam.5:14-16). We recognize Christ’s command to lay hands on the sick in His Name for their recovery in connection with the preaching of the gospel (Mark 16:17).
15. A primary function of the church is to afford God’s people opportunity and means of approaching God our Father through prayer and worship. Continued prayer and praise is a fundamental condition of God’s presence in the church. God’s house is a house of prayer for all people. The sacrifice of praise is enjoined upon all believers. The Father is seeking true worshippers who worship God in Spirit and in Truth. Prayer and praise should conform to the word, as revealed in both Old and New Testaments, audible, joyful, spiritual and in one accord (Isaiah 56:7; John 3:23, 24; Hebrews 13:15; Ps.100).
16. The Doctrine of laying on of hands describes a means by which spiritual blessing is imparted to one upon whom hands are laid in Christ’s name. In particular, we refer here to the impartation and confirmation of gifts and ministries by the laying on of hands of the presbytery (1 Tim.4:14; 2 Tim.1:6; Hebrews 6:2).
17. Church Government is biblical and its nature is theocratic, consisting of a senior Minister under apostolic authority, who qualifies on the basis of the look of spiritual life, domestic life character and ability to rule along with plurality and eldership (1 Timothy 3)
18. The Restoration of all things that were spoken by the holy prophets is a prerequisite in the coming of the Lord. We recognize that God is restoring lost truth to the church and we therefore place no limit on further illumination of the Word. However, further truth must be in full harmony and agreement with the written word of God, the Bible (Joel 2:25; Acts 3:20, 21).
19. The resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and their translation together with those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord is the imminent and Blessed Hope of the Church (1 Thess.4:16, 17; Rom.8:23; 1 Cor.15:51, 52).
20. The second coming of Christ includes the rapture of the saints, which is our Blessed Hope, followed by the visible return of Christ with His saints to reign on the earth for one thousand years (Zachariah 14:5; Matthew 14:27, 30; Rev.1:7; 19;11-14; 20:1-6). This millennial reign will bring the establishment of universal peace (Isaiah 11:6-9; Ps.72:3-8; Mic.4:4, 4).
21. There will be a final judgment in which the wicked dead will be raised and judged according to their works. “Whosoever is not found written in the Book of Life” together with the devil and his angels, the beast and the false prophet, will be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone which is the second death (Matthew 25:46; Mark 9:43-48; Rev.19:20:11-15; 21:8).
22. “But in keeping with His promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness” (2 Pt.3:13; Rev.21:22). All the saved whose names are written in the Book of Life, will inherit the blessedness of our Heavenly Father’s home (John 14:1-6).

Church Life

Our Sunday Worship Service is the highlight of our church life and the primary way we build together as a community. Our liturgy includes worshiping God through singing, praying, reading scripture, listening to teaching from the Bible and listening to Testimonies from some members. Our gatherings are held at our churches. We have two services; the first begins at 9:30 am and usually ends sometime around 11:00 am. and second begins at 11: 15 am and ends at 1:00 pm

What to Expect at our Gathering
To be warmly welcomed no matter who you are!
Dynamic music with a mix of both contemporary songs and traditional hymns. Our focus is to sing Christ Centered songs.
After we all sing together as families, our kids go to a safe and nurturing children’s ministry program where they are taught about Jesus by trained volunteers and the adults stay for the preaching of God’s word. If it would be your preference, you can feel free to keep your kids with you throughout the entire service.

Congregational prayer as we ask God to move in our church, in our city and our world.
Preaching that is clear, relevant and straight from the Bible.
Celebration of the Lord’s supper (but not every Sunday).
An opportunity to be prayed for after the service, or speak to a pastor about any spiritual questions you might have.
